Boreholes and Shallow Wells

Siting, drilling, casing and equipping of boreholes and shallow wells, with development and yield testing before anything is installed on top.

// what it covers

A borehole is only as good as its survey

Anyone can drill a hole. What decides whether it still gives water in five years is what happens before and after. The survey that picks the spot, the casing that keeps it clean, and the yield test that tells you honestly how much it will give. We do not size a pump until that test is done.

// how we work

Five stages, in this order, every time

Water projects fail when steps get skipped. This is the sequence we hold to.

01

Survey and siting

We visit the site, take your daily demand and survey the ground before anything is drilled or ordered.

02

Design and sizing

Pump, array, tank and pipework calculated from tested yield, head and demand.

03

Supply

Equipment sourced and delivered to site, with the specification in writing.

04

Install and commission

Installation, wiring and plumbing, then a commissioning run and handover.

05

Service and spares

Scheduled servicing, call-outs and genuine spares long after the invoice is paid.

// before you call

Three things make a quote possible

Send these three and we can price the job without a second visit. Miss one and everything after it is a guess.

Where the site is

District, town or village , and whether a vehicle can reach it.

What the water is for

Household, livestock, crops, an institution or a work site.

How much you use a day

Litres per day, or the number of people, animals or acres it has to serve.

// common questions

Asked before every job

The questions we get most often on this service, answered plainly.

Question not here?

Call the office and ask. We would rather answer it now than have you guess.

Nobody can answer that before the survey. Depth depends on the formation under your site. Any figure quoted before then is a guess.

It depends on ground conditions and access. We give you a timeline in writing with the quotation, once the survey is done.

That is what the yield test is for. We size the pump and tank against the tested figure, so the system matches what the ground actually gives.

Yes. Rehabilitation of existing boreholes and shallow wells is part of what we do.
