Water Pumps

Supply, installation and servicing of surface, submersible and solar-driven pumps, sized against the water you actually use.

// what it covers

The pump is chosen last, not first

A pump is specified from three numbers: the yield the source gives, the head it has to lift, and the water you use in a day. Get those wrong and the pump either burns itself out or never fills the tank. We take the numbers first and pick the pump afterwards.

// how we work

Five stages, in this order, every time

Water projects fail when steps get skipped. This is the sequence we hold to.

01

Survey and siting

We visit the site, take your daily demand and survey the ground before anything is drilled or ordered.

02

Design and sizing

Pump, array, tank and pipework calculated from tested yield, head and demand.

03

Supply

Equipment sourced and delivered to site, with the specification in writing.

04

Install and commission

Installation, wiring and plumbing, then a commissioning run and handover.

05

Service and spares

Scheduled servicing, call-outs and genuine spares long after the invoice is paid.

// before you call

Three things make a quote possible

Send these three and we can price the job without a second visit. Miss one and everything after it is a guess.

Where the site is

District, town or village , and whether a vehicle can reach it.

What the water is for

Household, livestock, crops, an institution or a work site.

How much you use a day

Litres per day, or the number of people, animals or acres it has to serve.

// common questions

Asked before every job

The questions we get most often on this service, answered plainly.

Question not here?

Call the office and ask. We would rather answer it now than have you guess.

That depends on the source, the lift and your daily volume. Send those three and we can answer it properly rather than guessing from a catalogue.

Most often dry running or wrong sizing. A pump set against an untested yield draws the borehole down and runs dry. Protection and correct sizing prevent both.

Yes. We service and repair installed equipment regardless of who put it in.

Yes, and they are covered under Solar Systems as a complete installation.
